Now welcoming new clients no referral needed
This practice grew from a deep understanding that many mothers are carrying more than they should, stretched thin by responsibility, change, and the constant need to show up for others. I have walked that path myself, and I offer this space as a steady point of support in the middle of all of that.
Before I became a counsellor, I was often the one listening to friends, colleagues, and the parts of people’s stories that do not always get spoken. Over time, it became clear that this was not just something I was good at. It was something I was meant to do, not in a clinical or detached way, but with warmth, presence, and real connection.
Alongside my work with mums, I also support children and teens. This part of my practice is shaped by my studies in Child Development, Effective Parenting, and Working with Adolescents, as well as my experience as a volunteer youth mentor with Raise Foundation. I offer a values-led, strengths-based approach that helps young people feel supported, understood, and able to explore what is happening in their world.
I support adults through grief and loss, as well as the changes and pressures that often sit alongside these experiences. My work in this area is shaped by lived experience and additional studies in Grief and Loss, which have strengthened the way I support people navigating the emotional impact of losing someone or something important. Whether the loss is recent or carried over time, or whether life has shifted in ways that feel heavy or unexpected, I offer a steady, supportive space to reflect, make sense of what is happening, and reconnect with what matters most.
Through professional learning and lived experience, I have come to believe that healing is not about dramatic transformation. It is about small shifts, honest reflection, and finding your way back to yourself in ways that feel possible and real.
As a registered counsellor with the Australian Counselling Association, I work with a values-led and strengths-based approach that honours autonomy, emotional safety, and steady progress. Whether we meet face-to-face, online or walking side by side in nature, my role is to create space where you can think, breathe, be heard, and explore what feels possible at a pace that works for you.
Take a Moment Counselling is more than a name. It is an invitation. It speaks to the strength in slowing down, the clarity that comes from tuning into what matters, and the courage it takes to find your own rhythm again. I hold this space with warmth, honesty, and thoughtful care.

I’m a registered counsellor with lived experience and a deep respect for the emotional journeys we each carry.
These badges reflect my community connections and ongoing commitment to professional learning so I can offer support that is safe, kind, professional and up to date.
