Now welcoming new clients — take a moment for yourself
This practice grew from a deep understanding that many mothers are quietly holding too much, stretched thin by responsibility, change, and the constant need to show up for others. I’ve walked that path myself—and I offer this space as a gentle interruption to that pattern.
Before I became a counsellor, I was often the one listening to friends, to colleagues, to the quiet parts of people’s stories that rarely get voiced. Over time, it became clear that this wasn’t just something I was good at; it was something I was meant to do. And not in a clinical, detached way, but with warmth, realness, presence and connection.
Alongside my work with mums, I also offer counselling for children and teens. This offering is shaped by my studies in Child Development and Effective Parenting, as well as my experience as a Volunteer Youth Mentor with Raise Foundation. I hold space for young people with the same gentle, values-led, strengths-based approach—creating calm, emotionally safe sessions where they can feel heard, supported, and quietly empowered to navigate life’s challenges.
Through professional training and lived experience, I’ve come to believe that healing isn’t about dramatic transformation; it’s about small shifts, honest reflection, and reconnecting with yourself in ways that feel possible and kind. As a registered counsellor with the Australian Counselling Association, I work with a values-led and strengths-based approach that honours autonomy, emotional safety, and gentle progress.
I offer counselling that is calm, supportive, and grounded in real life. Whether we meet online or walking side-by-side in nature, my role is to create space for you to take a moment for you, to pause, breathe, feel heard and understood, with space to explore what’s possible, and to feel supported and encouraged to begin making changes that feel right for you that will help you show up as the best version of yourself.
Take a Moment Counselling is more than a name, it’s an invitation. It speaks to the quiet strength in slowing down, the deep wisdom in tuning into what is important to you, and the gentle courage it takes to find your own rhythm again. I hold this space with warmth, honesty, and thoughtful care, side by side, and at a pace that feels just right for you.
I’m a registered counsellor with lived experience and a deep respect for the emotional journeys we each carry.
These badges reflect my community connections and ongoing commitment to professional learning so I can offer support that is safe, kind, professional and up to date.
