Now welcoming new clients no referral needed

Grief doesn’t always look the way we expect. It can follow the loss of a loved one, a relationship, a role, a sense of identity, or the future we imagined. It can also come from changes in health, infertility or perinatal loss, job loss, family shifts, or the quiet ache of something unresolved or uncertain.
However it shows up, you don’t have to carry it alone.
I offer a space that feels steady, safe, and free from pressure. A moment to pause, talk things through, and begin to make sense of what’s unfolding. We might chat online, walk side by side, or sit together in a quiet park. Whatever feels most comfortable, we’ll find a way that suits you.
Grief can feel heavy, confusing, or hard to put into words. Our time together is a place to slow down and breathe. You can talk, pause, cry, sit quietly, or take your time finding the right words. There’s no pressure to be “okay” or to make sense of everything straight away.
We gently explore things like:
You don’t need to arrive with a clear story or a plan. You can simply come as you are, and we’ll take it one step at a time.
There’s no right way to grieve. We go at your pace, in a way that feels natural and supportive.
No pressure. No rush. Just a moment to talk things through, feel supported, and explore what’s going on.
Whether it’s online, walking side-by-side, or sitting in a quiet park, we will find what feels right.
Grief can be quiet, messy, or hard to name. You might feel like you’re holding things together on the outside while everything shifts inside. Working together isn’t about fixing or rushing. It’s about having a space where you can feel, reflect, and slowly make sense of what’s unfolding.
Working with me can feel like:
We move at your pace. You don’t need to explain everything or have it all figured out. This is a space to pause, breathe, and take things one step at a time.
Grief can feel isolating, especially when people around you don’t quite understand what you’re carrying or expect you to “move on” before you’re ready. When you come to me, you’re stepping into a space that doesn’t ask anything of you. There’s no pressure to be strong, no need to hold it all together, and no expectations about how you should feel.
I’m not part of your everyday world, which means you don’t have to protect me from your emotions or worry about how things sound. You can simply arrive as you are. I bring calm, steady support, up‑to‑date training in grief and loss, and a genuine interest in how things feel for you.
Whether you’re grieving something recent or something long‑held, adjusting to change, or just needing a moment to breathe, I will meet you with care, respect, and a pace that feels right for you.

Some people find it easier to talk while moving, being outdoors, rather than sitting face‑to‑face in a room.
Walk & Talk sessions give you the option to be in nature while we work through whatever you’re carrying. This might include the loss of a loved one, identity shifts, relationship changes, or feeling overwhelmed by it all. We can walk, sit, or change pace as needed. There is no expectation to keep up a certain speed.
These sessions can feel more natural and less formal, while still offering the same level of support and care.

If you prefer to meet in person, I offer sessions in a calm, private room in Sorell on a Friday only. This space is set up to help you feel settled and supported as we explore what’s been weighing on you.
In‑room sessions can be helpful if you like having a consistent place to come to, or if you find it easier to talk when you’re physically in the same space as your counsellor.

Online sessions give you the flexibility to access support from wherever you feel most comfortable, at home, in your car during a busy day, or anywhere you have privacy.
Whether your grief is recent or long held, all sessions offer an opportunity for conversation, quiet reflection, and feeling heard and understood. This might include talking about the loss of a loved one, identity shifts, relationship changes, or feeling overwhelmed by it all.
This option works well if travel is tricky, if you’re juggling family or work commitments, or if you just prefer connecting through a screen. The support is the same, the format just gives you more freedom to fit counselling into your life.
I’m a registered counsellor with lived experience and a deep respect for the emotional journeys we each carry.
These badges reflect my community connections and ongoing commitment to professional learning so I can offer support that is safe, kind, professional and up to date.
